General Summary
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Technician will be responsible, among other things, for bookkeeping and bank reconciliation.

Main tasks and responsibilities
- Record financial transactions in the financial system;
- Periodically monitors accounting accounts, analyzes them and makes appropriate corrections;
- Prepare and follow up on legal recovery files;
- Participates in year-end audit and financial reporting work;
- Analyzes, properly codes expenditure and ensures approval;
- Track problematic invoices;
- Monitors expenditure reports;
- Perform bank reconciliation;
- Participates in the preparation of files and documents for year-end audits;
- Performs other related duties.

Qualifications
- DEP in accounting or other related training;
- Knowledge of ERP systems, knowledge of Dynamics, an asset;
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel intermediate level);
- Bilingualism (French/English);
- Manage and complete multiple tasks accurately and by deadline;
- Autonomous and able to work under pressure;
- Be able to properly track applications;
- Pay close attention to detail in all aspects of the work.
