Cannara Biotech Inc. is currently looking for a National Key Account Manager to join a dynamic team.
GENERAL SUMMARY
The National Key Account Manager will be responsible for owning key customer relationships as assigned, reporting directly to the VP of Sales. They will lead the management of Key Customers as assigned, working to establish Cannara as a category leader. Success in this role be based on your ability to understand critical customer needs, develop and deploy creative selling solutions to drive volume and profitability, and by positioning Cannara as a partner of choice in the mind of our customers.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES
- Own and manage relationships with both National and Regional accounts as assigned;
- Manage sell-in to customer and focus on building executional trade plans that drive sell-through;
- Work with your accounts internal teams to support brand education, product knowledge, and develop collaborative, mutually beneficial selling strategies;
- Identify short and long-term solutions to ensure sales targets are met through building strategic customer plans to sustain growth and address any sales gaps;
- Achieve sales and profitability targets for assigned customers that support and deliver to the regional targets;
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis;
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to understand strategic opportunities and review market performance;
- Analyze data with the objective of developing sales plans that address the market conditions;
- Actively support the VP, Sales in monthly budget tracking;
- Actively support Brand/Trade Marketing initiatives and ensure timely deployment of brand activities
- Work closely with the field sales team through regular field work to help understand issues and challenges that drive sales and customer relationships.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience in customer management, preferably in Cannabis or CPG related field;
- Strong understanding of cannabis and the industry regulations;
- Partner mindset through solution and fact-based selling to uncover customers needs;
- Exceptional communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation;
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn insights into strategy;
- Passion for cannabis and a drive to build a strong community;
- Reliable transportation for field visits, valid driver’s license;
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed;
- Experience in managing multiple demands with tight deadlines;
- Ability to travel nationally, and to head office and facilities in Quebec.
