Cannara Biotech Inc. is currently looking for a Refrigeration Specialist to join a dynamic team.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION

Under the authority of the co-maintenance managers, the refrigeration technician will be responsible for the maintenance of various cooling units used for the proper functioning of the greenhouses.

MAINT TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES

• Read and interpret the operating diagrams of the different units;
• Maintain, check, replace and repair cooling units;
• Performed compressor changes involving welding and refrigerant handling to the highest industry standards;
• Maintain, repair, install and maintain ventilation systems, HVAC, adjustment and belt changes;
• Changing ventilation system filters;
• Execute preventive maintenance programs and maintain maintenance records;
• Have a good knowledge of the standards for refrigerating appliances;
• Document the registry for data tracking;

All tasks will be performed in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• DEP in refrigeration with a CCQ companion card or industrial mechanics with a certificate of qualification in refrigeration systems;
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience;
• Halocarbon certification;
• Non-construction refrigeration technician with experience in the industrial and commercial environment;
• Experience with screw compressor and CO2 system is an asset;
• Be able to adjust to urgent situations or requests;
• Excellent knowledge of plumbing and welding;
• Be rigorous;
• Be autonomous and able to work in a team;
• Ability to withstand heat;
• Demonstrate ingenuity and resourcefulness;
• Have good dexterity and physical condition;
• Be able to handle up to 20 kg (45 lbs).

SALARY CONDITIONS

Daytime schedule, full-time. We offer a benefits plan that includes medical and dental coverage, group RRSP with employer participation, personal days. Have no legal impediment related to the job.
