Accounting Technician – Sales Cycle

Cannara Biotech Inc. is currently looking for an Accounting Technician – Sales Cycle to join its dynamic team in Montreal.

GENERAL SUMMARY 

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Accounting Technician is responsible for the sales and receivables cycle as well as certain tasks related to accounts payable. He or she will participate in various administrative tasks as well as at the end-of-period reconciliations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Enter purchase orders from customer orders;
• Reconcile shipping documents for products shipped;
• Prepare invoices in the ERP and send them to customers;
• Record cash receipts and follow up with customers if there are any discrepancies;
• Verify and reconcile customer account statements;
• Follow up with customers on past due invoices;
• Be in contact with customers (virtually);
• Perform the monthly bank reconciliation of all entities in the group;
• Support the accounts payable team;
• Perform all other related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

• DEP in accounting or other related training;
• Knowledge of ERP systems, knowledge of Dynamics, an asset;
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel intermediate level);
• Bilingualism (French/English);
• Manage and complete multiple tasks accurately and by deadline;
• Autonomous and able to work under pressure;
• Be able to properly track applications;
• Pay close attention to detail in all aspects of the work.
